Jo Phee (from Singapore) is the creator of AcuYin, MyoYin, Meridian Nidra and the world’s first 1000 hours Diploma in Yin Yoga. Known as a teacher’s teacher, Jo has served as the Senior Lead Assistant of Yin Yoga founder Paul Grilley since 2009. With specialisations in Chinese Medicine, Functional Anatomy and Fascia Science, Jo has been credited as the first yin yoga teacher to create a comprehensive range of Upper Body Yin Yoga poses to the mass public since 2006. Dubbed as the 'Queen of Props' in yin yoga, Jo is well known in the yin community for her creative wit in creating hundreds of yin poses with props, all of which are showcased in her upcoming “Book of Yin”. With trainings sold out annually, Jo has taught more than 10,000 public yin classes and conducted over 100 yin yoga teacher trainings internationally. She has trained thousands of yin yoga teachers around the world and her signature Yinspiration yin yoga trainings continue to serve as the blueprint curriculum for yin trainers worldwide. She hosted her modules at Balance Yoga yearly starting 2014 and taught Yin trainings 6x until 2019. We are glad to finally have her back in Germany, after 3 years of pandemic travel restrictions.
