108 Sun Salutations with Andrés.

Gemeinsam werden wir mit 108 Sonnengrüßen (Surya Namaskars) das Jahr 2018 verabschieden.

Namaskar stammt von dem Sanskritwort „namas“, welches bedeutet „sich zu verbeugen“. Traditionell ist der Sonnengruß ein Gebet in Bewegung mit dem wir uns vor der Sonne (Surya), der Schöpfung, der Erde und allen Lebewesen verbeugen. Zudem stimuliert die dynamische Sequenz alle inneren Organe, macht Wirbelsäule sowie Gelenke geschmeidig und bringt die Energie im Körper zum Fließen.

Mit diesem Ritual verneigen wir uns symbolisch vor allem, was hinter uns liegt und öffnen uns gleichzeitig für alles, was 2019 auf uns wartet.

Together we will tune into the end of the year 2018, with 108 Surya Namaskars (sun salutations). Namaskar originates from the word 'namas', which means to bow or to show respect. Traditionally, the sun salutation is made as a movement offering, like a prayer, in which we bow to the sun (Surya), to creation itself, earth and all beings.

Physically, this dynamic sequence stimulates all inner organs, makes us flexible, strong and awakens our energy.

With this ritual we consciously let go of the year 2018 and everything, that lays behind us now. We open our hearts and minds and fully embrace the new year 2019.
